The God of War series has always been popular and well-loved since it launched on the PlayStation 2, and it has seen numerous follow-up titles. It has even gone through a reboot, thrusting the main character Kratos out of Greek mythology and into Norse mythology. But fans may be wondering who the voice behind the God of War is.
The voice actor for Kratos in the God of War series is Christopher Judge. Judge is best known for his role Teal'c in the Stargate series and recently having voiced T'challa/Black Panther in Marvel's Avengers.

Christopher Judge has voiced Kratos in nearly every game and will reprise his role in God of War: Ragnorok, which will be released in 2022. Unfortunately, the sequel to the 2018 reboot was delayed partly to Judge's health, but fans eagerly await the sequel despite this small setback.
The reboot of God of Was has been on PlayStation since its launch but is now available on PC. This means newcomers to the series can experience the epic tale for the first time, and veterans can double-dip on PC.
