How to fix Halo Infinite Crashing on Startup

If you are trying to play Halo Infinite and crashing on startup, you are not alone. Plenty of players are encountering the same issues as you, and the problem is fixable. Start by relaunching the game, followed by restarting your system. For whatever reason restarting either the system or one can make certain games stop acting strange.

However, if neither troubleshooting step helped you with your Halo crashing issue, try updating your graphics drivers. To update your graphic driver, download the latest version from your manufacturer's website.

After this, download a program such as DDU and uninstall and update your driver. If updating GPU drivers doesn't work, it may be worth waiting a bit.

Halo Infinite's multiplayer beta just dropped, so there will be launch issues. The developers are also aware of problems players are experiencing, so it should not be long before we see a patch heading our way for the game.

In the meantime, players could try one other method to fix the crashing. However, it's only for AMD users, and it is a known problem. In short, if Async Compute in the Video Settings is set to On with certain RX 500 cards, it will cause the game to crash. So to fix it, just turn it off, and you should be able to play the game right after.
