In the mobile game Pokémon Go, trainers are given the opportunity to find and collect hundreds of Pokémon from different generations and regions. Some of these Pokémon are regional and can only be found in specific locations and countries. One example of this is Klefki, a key-shaped Steel and Fairy-type Pokémon from the Kalos Region in Generation Six.
Where to find Klefki in Pokémon Go
Since Klefki is a Regional Pokémon, players will only be able to find it in the Wild in France. For those who are unable to travel to this European country for Klefki, players can also trade it with friends willing to give up the Pokémon. Keep in mind that the Stardust cost is going to be fairly hefty when trading Klefki since it will likely be a new Pokédex Entry. Players can decrease the Stardust cost of a trade by increasing their friendship level with the other player.

Quite a few Regional Pokémon have been released into Pokémon Go since the game's launch in 2016. It can be pretty difficult to acquire all of them since they only appear in specific regions of the world. Trainers should keep in mind on their hunt for Regional Pokémon because past events have temporarily changed some of their spawn locations. Participating in events is the key to filling out a complete Pokédex, so keep an eye out for ones that include Region-locked Pokémon.
